Prime Minister Narendra Modi on July 22 urged people to strengthen the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ movement by hoisting or displaying the national flag at their homes between August 13 and 15. The Prime Minister said on twitter, “This year, when we are celebrating the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, why not strengthen the Tricolor movement at every home”. Union Home Minister Amit Shah also appealed to the people to join the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ movement.

The government has asked citizens to proudly hoist the tricolour at their homes from August 13 to 15.
